Jean-Guy Ouellet

With a degree in electronics, he has always worked in technology for large companies such as Hydro-Québec and Bombardier Aerospace. Over the years, his career has shifted to computer science as an architect and IT consultant.

For more than 16 years, he has been director of consulting and it consultant. In 2012, he discovered UAVs/drones, having successfully trained as a commercial light drone pilot at KoptR Image and the CQFA (Quebec Aerospace Training Centre).

After graduating in 2013, his continuous training allows him to be up to date in the current world of SATP. This training has allowed him to work as a technical director and professional drone pilot at EXO Tactik as well as for other companies in this field.

In 2014, he joined the Associate Aeronautics Modellers of Canada (MAAC) to help grow drone flying, and the following year he became the Canadian chair of the multirotor committee for the organization, which has more than 15,000 members in Canada.
