Collision reconstruction with PIX4Dmatic

The online course will introduce you to critical PIX4Dmatic workflows for mapping collision scenes and establishing a damage profile.

You will learn best practices for capturing RGB images and creating, managing, analyzing, and sharing 2D and 3D representations of reality.

A series of hands-on exercises will demonstrate how to efficiently and effectively work with PIX4Dmatic to produce evidentiary-level deliverables.

 

Requirements

  • A computer that meets the minimum requirements.
  • A license for the latest version of PIX4Dmatic
  • A viDoc RTK rover suitable for Pix4D (not all viDoc RTK rovers are compatible with PIX4Dcatch).

 

Course objectives

  • Learn the basics of photogrammetry and capturing images of a collision scene.
  • Generate realistic and accurate 2D and 3D georeferenced representations of reality, including orthomosaics and 3D models.
  • Export the 2D and 3D deliverables for documentation and post-processing.
